Communal Conversation
Through May 27, 2025
weekly on Tuesday
Starting 6:00 PM
A weekly gathering at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex invites community members to engage in meaningful dialogue and cultural exchange. Held every Tuesday through May 27 in the theater lobby, the Communal Conversation series provide a platform for discussing topics pertinent to the Haitian community.
Archiving a Legacy of Freedom: Haitian Heritage Month - "Created, Called & Chosen" is presented by the City of Miami Parks & Recreation Department as part of the Haitian Heritage Month programming. The series features discussions with members of the Haitian diaspora, focusing on themes of heritage, identity and community resilience. Participants have the opportunity to share experiences, learn from one another and contribute to the collective memory of the Haitian community.
These sessions are open to all and aim to foster a deeper understanding of Haitian culture and history. Whether you are of Haitian descent or interested in learning more about this vibrant community, the Communal Conversation series offers a welcoming space for dialogue and connection.
