Contemporary: Jewish Voices at Bet Shira

Join Seraphic Fire for a performance featuring the works of contemporary Jewish composers on Thursday, November 7 at Bet Shira at Pinecrest. Under the direction of James K. Bass, the a cappella chorus will present a program that explores the Jewish experience.

The concert will include Shirim L'yom Tov, a set of celebratory songs by Pulitzer-prize-winning composer Shulamit Ran. Also featured are compositions by Julia Wolfe, David Lang and Moira Smiley.
