Duranguense and regional Mexican music take over Harris Field Park & Rodeo Arena with a touring festival lineup featuring several long-running acts. The all-ages Durango Fest comes to Homestead on Saturday, May 23, with music beginning at 4 p.m. The event marks the festival’s fifth anniversary and brings its national touring showcase to South Dade.
The lineup includes Alacranes Musical, Montez de Durango, K-Paz de la Sierra, Patrulla 81 and Banda Lamento Show de Durango. Together, the artists represent key strands of duranguense and regional Mexican music, from Alacranes Musical’s Billboard-charting songs and Latin Grammy nominations to Patrulla 81’s enduring presence in the genre since the 1980s.
Durango Fest is open to all ages, and children under 12 are admitted free. The lineup is subject to change.
