Father's Day Wings & Wilderness

Celebrate Father's Day with a day full of outdoor adventure, food and family fun at Doral Glades Park. On Saturday, June 7, this family-friendly event features a thrilling BBQ wings competition, an intense wing-eating contest and a variety of outdoor activities such as kayaking, archery and fishing.

In addition to the competitions, guests can participate in interactive workshops, including campfire building, fish cleaning and filleting, and "Cooking with Your Garden: Meat Marinades."

Entry to the event is free, while participation in the Wing Cook-Off is $28.52 and the Wing-Eating Contest is $7.18. The wing-eating contest will begin at 2:00 p.m., and participants must be present by 2:00 p.m. to enter.

Teams entering the BBQ competition must register by June 2, and attend a mandatory chef’s meeting on June 5. Cooking teams will be provided with wings and must cook them on-site, following specific guidelines for preparation and sanitation.
