February at CAMP: Opening Reception
This event has passed.
Contemporary art meets innovative perspectives in three distinct exhibitions exploring time, space and human form. February at CAMP: Opening Reception launches Friday, February 7 at The CAMP Gallery in North Miami, showcasing new works across multiple gallery spaces.
In Gallery A, Light Speed pairs artists Liz Leggett and James Akers as they examine the temporal nature of artistic creation through contrasting mediums. Gallery B houses On The Other Side, where Khotan Fernandez and Seth Ellison transform familiar landscapes into surreal environments that challenge conventional perspectives.
The gallery's new incubator space features (In)corporeal, a solo exhibition by Thomas Donaldson that explores the complexities of human form and perception through intimate spatial arrangements.
Earlier in the day, from 1-5 p.m., visitors can engage with featured artist Khotan Fernandez during an artist talk, followed by an Instagram LIVE conversation with Liz Leggett. The Contemporary Art Modern Project Gallery, known for its emphasis on ultra-contemporary approaches to textiles and fiber art, provides free venue parking for this all-ages event.
For additional information about the exhibitions, running through February 28, 2025, interested parties can contact hello@thecampgallery.com.
