Enjoy an evening of modern classical works at the FIU Music Festival 2024, featuring FIU Symphony Orchestra: New World & Latin America on Saturday, November 2, at the FIU Herbert and Nicole Wertheim Performing Arts Center. Conducted by Javier José Mendoza, the FIU Symphony Orchestra will perform Dvořák’s Symphony No. 9, From the New World, blending classical sophistication with the spirit of America. The program continues with Revueltas' Noche de los Mayas, a vibrant celebration of Mexico’s ancient culture, driven by energetic percussion and vivid orchestrations.
