Discover the oral traditions of the Seminole Tribe of Florida during an evening dedicated to storytelling, history and cultural preservation. Hosted at the Patricia & Phillip Frost Art Museum FIU, this program invites guests to engage with powerful narratives passed down through generations.
Frost After Dark: Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Night of Storytelling takes place on Wednesday, July 2 and features Gordon "Ollie" Wareham, Director of the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum and a tribal member of the Seminole Tribe of Florida. With deep knowledge and a lifelong commitment to preserving Seminole heritage, Wareham will share traditional origin stories and histories, some rooted in oral traditions thousands of years old.
