Gold Dust Lounge

Atmospheric and cinematic sounds take over the Arsht Center’s outdoor stage when Gold Dust Lounge performs under the stars.

The concert takes place Friday, March 6 as part of the Live on the Plaza series. Led by guitarist and composer Russell Mofsky, the ensemble blends influences from surf, noir jazz, shoegaze and spaghetti western soundtracks into a style often described as “mod exotica” and “surf noir.” Their music, once nominated for Best Instrumental Album by the Independent Music Awards, evokes the mood of an unseen film, at once hypnotic, evocative and unmistakably original. Tickets go on public sale September 19.
