Haiti vs. USA Kickoff Party

Live kompa from T-Vice anchors an evening of Haitian music, dancing and soccer fandom at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. Taking place Friday, November 13, the kickoff party is presented by Purforce Group and Route 1804 Foundation, bringing local residents and visiting supporters together ahead of Haiti’s match against the United States.

Founded by brothers Roberto and Reynaldo Martino in 1992, T-Vice carries forward a musical lineage shaped by their father, guitarist Robert Martino of Top Vice. The Miami-based band combines Haitian kompa with influences from reggae, merengue and rock, performing for audiences across the Caribbean, North America and Europe.

The celebration precedes the first leg of the Concacaf Nations League quarterfinal between Haiti and the U.S. men’s national team, scheduled for Saturday, November 14, at Nu Stadium in Miami. The party offers a cultural gathering for fans before the teams take the field the following day.
