Wellness practitioners and community members are invited to an evening of connection, learning and resource-sharing centered on Black health and healing. Hosted at the Center for Black Innovation, this gathering offers a space for professionals in the wellness field to explore shared values, strengthen their networks and engage with local initiatives.
The Healers' Hub takes place on Wednesday, June 18 and features a guided program that includes an introduction to Black Yogis of South Florida, a tour of the Center for Black Innovation and a presentation from Dunns Farm on the theme of food as medicine. Attendees will also participate in a hands-on Liberation Tea Activation, creating personalized blends from farm-grown herbs.
Evening Schedule:
- 6:30–6:45 p.m. – Arrival, check-in and informal networking
- 6:45–6:55 p.m. – Welcome and overview of Black Yogis of South Florida
- 6:55–7:10 p.m. – Tour of the Center for Black Innovation
- 7:10–7:25 p.m. – Dunns Farm presentation: Food as Medicine
- 7:30–8:00 p.m. – Liberation Tea Activation
- 8:00–8:30 p.m. – Final networking and community building
The event is open to individuals 18 and older. Free parking is available on site. Held in observance of Juneteenth, the evening emphasizes celebration through community engagement and shared healing practices.
