A longstanding monthly outdoor concert series brings live jazz and multidisciplinary performances to MOCA Plaza.
Jazz at MOCA takes place the last Friday of each month at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, continuing a tradition that has spanned more than two decades. Presented in an open-air setting, the series features a rotating lineup of artists alongside access to the museum’s galleries during the evening hours.
The April 24 program features musicians from the New World Symphony, bringing a contemporary interpretation of jazz through a collective of classically trained performers. Known for its focus on innovation and musical excellence, the Miami Beach–based institution regularly engages with diverse genres, offering performances that bridge classical technique and modern expression.
Seating begins at 7 p.m., with the concert running from 8 to 10 p.m. Admission is free, and guests are welcome to bring their own chairs.
