Enjoy one of Miami's longest-running outdoor jazz concert series every last Friday of the month at MOCA Plaza. For over two decades, Jazz at MOCA has been presenting a diverse program that not only includes music but also multidisciplinary performances. Concerts customarily run from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with seating starting at 7:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs.
June 27 – Jean P Jam
In celebration of Caribbean American Heritage Month, this month’s performance features Jean “Pokito” Almatas, leader of Jean P Jam. Known for their world beat sound called Deep Roots, the band blends Caribbean rhythms with global influences. As always, museum admission is pay-what-you-wish from 7 to 10 p.m., and the event takes place rain or shine on the MOCA Plaza.
