Jazz at MOCA
Mar 27, 2026 - Dec 25, 2026
monthly on the last Friday
Seating starts at 7:00 PM | Concert: 8:00 PM
A longstanding monthly outdoor concert series brings live jazz and multidisciplinary performances to MOCA Plaza.
Jazz at MOCA takes place the last Friday of each month at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, continuing a tradition that has spanned more than two decades. Presented in an open-air setting, the series features a rotating lineup of artists alongside access to the museum’s galleries during the evening hours.
The March 27 program features trumpeter Curtis Taylor, a jazz composer and educator known for blending technical precision with expressive, contemporary improvisation. His work reflects a foundation shaped by early musical training and mentorship, with performances that balance structured composition and spontaneous interplay.
Seating begins at 7 p.m., with the concert running from 8 to 10 p.m. Admission is free, and guests are welcome to bring their own chairs.
