Juneteenth in Motion: Line Dance Class + Social

Line dancing, music and community come together for an evening that blends celebration and movement in honor of Juneteenth. Juneteenth in Motion: Line Dance Class + Social takes place Friday, June 6 at The Urban in Historic Overtown, featuring guided dance sessions led by Antoinette of @ThisBlackGirlFit from I Can Fitness.
Participants will learn routines to tracks like “Boots on the Ground,” “Country Girl” and Tamia’s “Can’t Get Enough,” with time in between classes to enjoy music from a live DJ and shop from Black-owned vendors. Hosted by the Miami chapters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., the event is part of the Black Dollar Days series spotlighting Black-owned businesses every Friday in June.
