Kayak Clean Up at Oleta River State Park

Join Clean Miami Beach and the Brady Hunter Foundation for a rewarding day of giving back to the environment on Thursday, September 12 from 4 to 6 p.m. Paddle to Sandspur Island and help clean up the shoreline at Oleta River State Park.

Enjoy the beauty of the outdoors while making a positive impact on our local ecosystem. All ages are welcome, and community service hours are available.

Event Details:

• Meeting Point: Near the Kayak Rental Outdoor Center, 3400 NE 163rd St, North Miami Beach, 33160. Look for the turtle flag.
• Parking: Complimentary parking is available for volunteers at the gate.
• What to Bring: Closed-toed shoes, water (no plastic), reef-safe sun protection, and a hat. Cleanup supplies will be provided.
• Age Restrictions: 16+ or with a chaperone.
• Kayaks: Limited kayaks are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
