Step inside a 1960s Cuban prison and experience a rarely told chapter of history through immersive theater that places you at the center of the story. Las Paredes Oyen uses 360° staging and personal storytelling to recreate the experience of a political prisoner during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
Presented at the Doral Cultural Arts Center on select dates from June 13 through July 27, Las Paredes Oyen (“The Walls Have Ears”) is inspired by the true story of the playwright’s grandfather. Blending moments of dark comedy with emotional depth, the performance honors the resilience of Cuba’s political prisoners and the broader Cuban diaspora. Performed in Spanish with a powerful ensemble cast, this immersive theatrical experience is presented by the City of Doral.
