Lazos Familiares: Orlando Gonzalez

A showcase of vibrant design rooted in Caribbean traditions opens North Miami’s Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations at City Hall.

Lazos Familiares: Orlando González takes place Tuesday, September 9, presented by the City of North Miami. Born in Barranquilla, Colombia, González is known for his Barrio Abajo style, which draws on the colors, architecture and cultural identity of his hometown. His work, influenced by the spirit of Barranquilla Carnival, has been recognized internationally and exhibited in galleries across Colombia and Miami.
