One of the classical world’s rising stars takes the stage in Coral Gables for an evening of chamber music performed with rare sensitivity and polish. Accompanied by pianist Adria Ye, this young artist brings a program of Schumann, Mendelssohn and more to a setting known for its intimate acoustics and architectural charm.
Leland Ko performs on Thursday, July 24 at Coral Gables Congregational United Church of Christ as part of the Community Arts Program (CAP) 2025 Summer Concert Series. A 2024 joint first-prize winner at the prestigious Naumburg International Cello Competition, Ko has been praised by Itzhak Perlman for his “beauty of sound and subtlety.” This performance offers a chance to hear a celebrated interpreter of the cello repertoire in a rare South Florida appearance.
The series continues every other Thursday with Ken Peplowski (August 7) and Tyreek McDole (August 21).
