Lunar New Year at Jarana
Through Feb 24, 2026
A limited-time dining experience explores the deep culinary ties between Peru and China through a Lunar New Year menu designed for sharing and seasonal celebration.
This Lunar New Year activation runs February 17–21 at Jarana, marking the holiday with a special menu inspired by the Chinese influence woven into Peruvian cuisine. Rooted in Peru’s long history of Chinese migration, the offerings draw from dim sum traditions, wok-fired techniques and street-style snacks, reinterpreted through Jarana’s contemporary Peruvian lens. The Year of the Horse menu highlights small plates meant for the table, blending familiar flavors with playful twists that reflect both cultural heritage and modern kitchen craft.
Jarana takes its name from the Peruvian word for celebration, and the restaurant’s approach centers on communal dining, handcrafted cocktails and a lively yet approachable atmosphere. The Lunar New Year menu complements Jarana’s broader focus on Peru’s multicultural food traditions, which integrate Chinese, Japanese and Italian influences alongside classic dishes such as cebiche, saltados and anticuchos, with pisco-based cocktails rounding out the experience.
