Set against the backdrop of a changing Cuba, the play unfolds on New Year's Eve, revealing the siblings' struggles and the dark humor they use to cope with their circumstances.
Directed by Raúl Martin and starring Gilberto Reyes, Héctor Medin and Beatriz Valdés, Manteca offers a humorous yet moving examination of family dynamics and resilience in the face of adversity. This performance is presented by Beatriz Valdés Studio and supported by the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs.
