Delve into Miami's architectural past with HistoryMiami Museum's In Class with Dr. George series on Wednesday, August 14. Hosted by HistoryMiami Museum’s Resident Historian, Dr. Paul S. George, and featuring guest speaker Professor Jose R. Vazquez from Miami Dade College’s School of Architecture and Interior Design, this session reflects on the city’s distinctive architectural styles, from Art Deco and Miami Modern (MiMo) to Frame Vernacular and Mediterranean Revival. Attendees will learn about the evolution of Miami's built environment and the cultural influences that shaped its unique character.
