Miami DanceMakers Informal Showing
This event has passed.
Experience the evolution of dance works at the Miami DanceMakers Informal Showing on Friday, October 18 at The Moss Center. Witness the creative process unfold as MDC artists present work-in-progress pieces inspired by the collections at the Perez Art Museum Miami (PAMM).
This exclusive event offers a behind-the-scenes look at the development of three new dance works:
- Clinton Harris: I See Red People, inspired by Tania Candiani’s Pulso
- Cecilia Benitez: To Build a World (working title), inspired by Marcela Cantuária’s The South American Dream
- Erika Loyola: Erupted, inspired by Carlos Amorales’ Dark Mirror
Launched by Adele Myers and Dancers in 2021, the Miami DanceMakers program provides a platform for emerging dance artists to develop their craft. This year's 2024 Creative Development Partners - Miami Light Project, Live Arts Miami, YoungArts and The Moss Center - have generously supported these talented creators.
Don’t miss this opportunity to see these innovative dance pieces take shape before their final performance at PAMM.
Tickets go on sale August 27.
