Nov 14, 2026
Starting: 8:00 PM
A young musician’s divided loyalties and an artificial intelligence’s thousand-year voyage frame five shorts about time, memory and human connection. Time Will Tell screens Saturday, November 14, at Silverspot Cinema in Downtown Miami as part of the 25th MIAMI short FILM FESTIVAL.
The program includes:
- ¡Que Suene La Banda! — Jorge Parra Jr.’s U.S. drama follows a young trombonist navigating musical ambition, family expectations and his connection to his father’s banda group.
- Off-Time — Ukrainian animator Nata Metlukh follows a multitasking data engineer whose carefully controlled life unravels when time breaks apart.
- Time Space Love — Marie-Louise Gariépy’s Canadian film sends an AI-equipped probe toward a distant star on a thousand-year journey marked by loneliness and transformation.
- Nio gånger bättre — Swedish filmmakers Lorenzo Follari and Emma Dock explore self-discovery through the hopes and disappointments of a romantic relationship.
- Fundbox – A Love Story — Miles Merritt and Gail Kempler’s Austrian film follows an elderly man returning to Vienna to honor a promise as his 50th wedding anniversary approaches.
The program runs approximately 80 minutes. Films in languages other than English are presented with English subtitles.
