Little explorers and their grown-ups will embark on a sensory-rich journey through South Florida's most iconic ecosystem. Mini-Me Science: Everglades Connection Part 1 – ForEverglades takes place on Sunday, February 9 and Wednesday, February 12 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. This special edition of the museum's monthly early learning program invites children ages two to five to discover the wonders of the Everglades through age-appropriate, hands-on activities.
The hour-long session combines 30 minutes of interactive exploration with a guided tour of the museum's exhibitions. As the first installment of a two-part series, this program at Frost Science lays the foundation for a subsequent adventure at Everglades National Park, though each session can be enjoyed independently.
Parents and caregivers actively participate alongside their young scientists, fostering shared discovery and learning moments. Registration is $25 for one child and adult pair, with additional children at $20 each and extra adults at $10 per person. Museum admission, purchased separately, is required for participation. Older siblings are welcome to join the experience for an additional fee of $20.
