MOCA Makers: Photographic Blueprints with Anna Goraczko
This event has passed.
Join Miami-based artist Anna Goraczko for an immersive exploration of the historical cyanotype process, where sunlight transforms ordinary objects into striking blue prints. This MOCA Makers workshop, Photographic Blueprints with Anna Goraczko, takes place Saturday, March 8 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami.
Participants will discover the camera-less photographic technique of cyanotypes—the same process explored by MOCA exhibiting artist Andrea Chung. The hands-on workshop guides attendees through each step of creating their own photographic blueprints, from preparing specialized paper to capturing impressions using plant materials, found objects and film negatives.
All necessary materials will be provided for this creative experience, though participants are welcome to bring personal items to incorporate into their unique blueprints.
