Progressive house and melodic electronic music guide the night as Nick Warren brings his long-running DJ practice to Jolene Sound Room Miami. The 21+ event takes place Saturday, September 26, with doors at 10 p.m. Set inside the basement-level venue at downtown Miami’s Julia & Henry building, the performance offers an intimate setting for Warren’s atmospheric approach to club music.

A key figure in UK electronic music, Warren emerged from Bristol’s late-1980s club scene before co-founding Way Out West with Jody Wisternoff. The project became known for melodic, progressive house productions including “Ajare” and “The Gift,” while Warren’s mix compilations for Global Underground helped define the sound of progressive house for international audiences.

Warren’s career has also included label and event work through The Soundgarden, along with decades of touring and curation across clubs and festivals. His recent solo album Turbulence adds another chapter to a career shaped by layered selections, gradual builds and a focus on mood-driven electronic music.
