Explore Haiti’s cultural legacy through an evening of performance, dialogue and community recognition at Barry University. This gathering highlights the resilience and contributions of the Haitian community with a program that blends traditional arts, civic engagement and opportunities for connection.
One Love, One Haiti, One Community takes place Thursday, May 29, 2025, as part of Haitian Heritage Month. Presented by South Florida People of Color, the event features a keynote on Haiti’s history and future, a cultural showcase including music, drumming, dance and spoken word, as well as community awards recognizing local Haitian leaders. Attendees can also explore a resource and advocacy fair, enjoy authentic Haitian cuisine and art, and support student scholarships.
Admission is free with advance registration. The event is open to all, including allies and those interested in cultural exchange and community building.
