PEN Club de Escritores Cubanos en el Exilio
This event has passed.
Join Books & Books on Friday, November 1, for an insightful evening with the PEN Club de Escritores Cubanos en el Exilio (PEN Club of Cuban Writers in Exile). This group, established in 1997, was founded by prominent Cuban writers, including Octavio R. Costa and Angel Cuadra, to preserve and promote freedom of expression. With over 80 members today, the club continues to support Cuban writers in exile. Daniel I. Pedreira, the current president, will lead the discussion, sharing his extensive research on Cuban political history and the club’s legacy. This event offers a meaningful opportunity to explore the intersection of literature and exile.
