A milestone year for Fashion Strikes Cancer is marked with the 10th Annual Pink Dome Lighting Ceremony in the Miami Design District. The evening honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month with remarks from founder Angeles Almuna and a special performance by Florida Grand Opera.
The program features selections from Léo Delibes’ Lakmé (“Flower Duet”) and Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro (“Sull’aria”), performed by sopranos Haojin Mo and Catherin Meza with pianist Jared Peroune. Guests can also enjoy a bar service by Mia Market featuring The Pale Rosé. The Pink Dome Lighting Ceremony takes place Wednesday, October 1 at Palm Court Plaza.
