The Miami Film Festival kicks off its exciting GEMS program with a special Preview Night screening of Saturday Night on Saturday, October 5, at the Koubek Center.
Directed by Jason Reitman (Juno, Up in the Air) and written by Gil Kenan and Reitman, Saturday Night tells the true story of the chaos and camaraderie that unfolded behind the scenes in the lead-up to the very first broadcast of Saturday Night Live in 1975. Witness the birth of a comedic revolution that forever changed television and pop culture.
This exclusive screening serves as an appetizer for the full GEMS program lineup, which will be announced on Tuesday, October 1. The 11th annual GEMS takes place from October 30 to November 3.
