Raw Figs: Summer Haven Series takes place every Wednesday in May from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Gramps Getaway, a laid-back bar and restaurant known for its open-air setting, craft drinks and views of the Miami skyline. Hosted by Raw Figs, this weekly figure drawing session is self-guided and family-friendly, featuring a minimally clothed or costumed model and a welcoming, all-ages environment.
Each session offers a different format—from long-pose nights to collaborative “Draw and Swap” exercises—allowing artists of all levels to experiment with form, technique and collaboration. Materials like pencils, pastels, charcoal and paper are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, though participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies when possible.
The sessions begin promptly at 6:40 p.m. and include 64 minutes of timed poses. Food and beverages are available for purchase from the venue, and metered street parking is nearby. Attendance is donation-based, with all contributions supporting models, materials and program operations.
