From: 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM
Immerse yourself in an evening of cultural discovery that brings Georgia's most compelling artistic voices to Miami's iconic Lincoln Road. This exhibition blends traditional influences with contemporary perspectives, offering visitors the opportunity to witness live creative processes while experiencing the intersection of Georgian heritage and modern artistic expression.
Rooted in Culture Pop-up Exhibition Reception takes place Thursday, May 15 at Lincoln Center. This event represents the Miami installment of the "Rooted in Culture" project, which has previously been showcased at prestigious venues including the Library of Congress, United Nations Plaza, the Hamptons Fine Art Fair and Harvard University's Davis Center.
Curated by Ketevan Paitchadze and presented by the Georgia Nation Harmony Foundation, the exhibition features a curated collection of painting, sculpture and mixed-media works that explore themes of tradition, identity and contemporary innovation. A highlight of the evening includes "Creation Unbound: The Art of Becoming," a live open-studio performance by artist Sergo Tbileli, who will create over 100 new works on site, available at special exhibition-only pricing.
The reception follows a day of public gallery hours and a VIP collectors preview. Beginning at 7 p.m., attendees can enjoy complimentary drinks and artist introductions, followed by the Mixxer Miami after-hours courtyard experience from 7:45-11 p.m., featuring DJ sets, art installations, performances and a fashion show alongside late-night gallery viewing.
All exhibited pieces are available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the participating artists and funding future cross-cultural programming. This event provides art enthusiasts an opportunity to engage directly with Georgian culture through multiple artistic mediums while experiencing the dynamic atmosphere of Miami's art scene.
