Running Edge 305: Victory Homes

Historic architecture and weekend vitality converge in a community-centered run through the Victory Homes neighborhood. On Saturday, August 30, join Running Edge 305 for a free meet-up at 520 NW 75th Street. The gathering features a warm-up and drills (7–7:30 a.m.), guided run or walk (7:30–8:30 a.m.) and a cooldown with stretching (8:30–9 a.m.).

The route flows through Victory Homes, a low-density housing development originally built as barracks for World War II veterans and bisected by I‑95, an emblem of mid-century planning and neighborhood transformation. More than just a run group, Running Edge 305 brings people together across historic neighborhoods like Little Haiti, Liberty City and Overtown, connecting fitness with Miami’s cultural diversity.
