On Friday, August 15, Sweat Records hosts Salsa Without Borders, presented by Salsa Z. Moderated by Stephany Torres, the discussion follows salsa’s evolution through a history of migration—from West Africa to the Caribbean, New York City and South America—showing how cultural exchange has shaped the music’s sound and spirit.
