Apr 19, 2026
From: 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
A welcoming museum experience designed for neurodiverse visitors invites families to explore exhibitions in a calm, supportive environment. Sensory Sunday takes place Sunday, April 19 at HistoryMiami Museum.
Created for children, teens and young adults who are neurodiverse, on the autism spectrum or have sensory processing or cognitive disabilities, the program offers a relaxed opportunity to enjoy the museum’s galleries at an individualized pace. Families can also spend time in a sensory-inclusive room and interactive building blocks area designed to encourage hands-on engagement.
Admission to the program is free with advance registration. Capacity is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
