Enjoy an evening of masterful piano artistry as part of the Miami International Piano Festival Academy Concert Series at the Miami Beach Woman’s Club. On Monday, January 6, internationally acclaimed pianist Stephen Beus will present Nocturnes and Nightmares: Music of the Night, featuring works by Lera Auerbach, Amy Beach, Nikolay Medtner and Liszt–Horowitz.
Stephen Beus, celebrated for his dynamic performances across venues such as Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall and the Shanghai Oriental Arts Center, brings a program that captures the evocative and mysterious essence of nocturnal music. Highlights include Medtner’s Sonata Op. 25 No. 2 "Night Wind" and Liszt–Horowitz’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2.
Admission to this performance is free and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Presented with the support of the City of Miami Beach, this concert is part of a week-long series featuring performances by distinguished faculty from the Miami International Piano Festival Winter Academy.
