This event has passed.
The Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami launches its Summer Film Series with the 1988 film, Who Framed Roger Rabbit. This outdoor screening aligns with the current exhibit, Light Play, and features neon-noir films characterized by their electronic scores, neon-drenched visuals and morally complex heroes grappling with urban isolation.
The museum's courtyard opens for general seating at 7:00 p.m., with the film starting at 8:00 p.m. All movie tickets include admission to the museum's ongoing "Light Play" exhibit until closing at 8:00 p.m. Guests are welcome to bring their own chairs and snacks (BYOB).
For those seeking a more interactive experience, a special pre-movie social event is offered by We Met in Miami, a non-profit organization fostering connections through art and film. This ticketed event, for attendees 21+, includes icebreakers, conversation starters, guided tours of the Light Play exhibit and refreshments before the film.
