Discover the joy of story time at the Museum of Contemporary Art, North Miami, with Sunday Stories: The Light Within You on November 3. This month’s session explores The Light Within You, a children’s story centered on Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. Young attendees will learn about the festival’s traditions and significance, followed by a hands-on activity where they can create their own night lights symbolizing their “inner light.”
Designed for families, MOCA’s Sunday Stories program encourages literacy, fine motor skills and social bonding, offering a welcoming environment for children and parents to engage together. Generously supported by the North Miami Community Redevelopment Agency, this program is open to all.
