A midday gathering at Miami-Dade College Medical Campus marks the 100th anniversary of Black History Month with a celebration of legacy, leadership and community.
The History of HBCUs & The Divine Nine: Join the Discussion takes place Wednesday, February 11, in the Atrium at Miami-Dade College Medical Campus. The program explores the cultural, educational and social impact of Historically Black Colleges and Universities alongside the enduring influence of the Divine Nine Greek-letter organizations, highlighting how these institutions have shaped generations of Black professionals, activists and cultural leaders.
Attendees are encouraged to represent their HBCU or Greek organization by wearing school or chapter attire. The event also features local vendors, a voter registration table and a gift card giveaway.
