Timeless Harmonies: Celebrating 40 Years of Making Music

Two-piano repertoire and chamber music mark Dranoff 2 Piano Fusion’s 40th anniversary with a world premiere by composer Adam Schoenberg. The season-opening concert takes place Saturday, November 7, at 8 p.m. at the Aventura Arts & Cultural Center. Pianists Glen Inanga and Rebeca Omordia perform with the Amernet String Quartet and guest bassist Paola Garcia.
A laureate of the 1999 Dranoff International Two Piano Competition, Inanga has performed internationally as a soloist and chamber musician. Omordia is known for championing African classical music, while the Amernet String Quartet serves as ensemble-in-residence at Florida International University.
The program also highlights the legacy of Black classical composers while introducing Schoenberg’s newly commissioned work. VIP tickets are available, and students may purchase discounted tickets at the box office on the day of the performance with valid identification.
