Cuban music and literature come together in a Spanish-language evening of conversation and performance at Books & Books in Coral Gables.
Una Encuentra Entre Música y Literatura takes place Friday, September 26, presented in partnership with the Miami Book Fair. The program, conducted entirely in Spanish, features Ricardo Oropesa (La Huella Sonora de la Música Cubana), Tony Pinelli (Con una Lata y un Palo: Panorama de la Música Cubana), Daniel de Prophet (La Invasión Musical Cubana: New Orleans) and Lázaro Caballero (Juana La Cubana). Admission is free; books will be available for purchase during the event.
