UTSAV: A Celebration of India

Experience the richness of Indian culture through an evening of food, music, art and family-friendly activities in downtown Miami. Held on the terrace of Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, this open-air gathering invites guests to explore traditional crafts, dance to Bollywood beats and sample the vibrant flavors of Indian street food in a festive, informal setting.
UTSAV 2025: A Celebration of India takes place Friday, July 18 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Presented by MAIACA in partnership with the Miami Downtown Development Authority and Miami Dade College, the event features a curated textile showcase spotlighting India’s diverse weaving traditions, a live DJ from New York spinning Bollywood hits and a food station serving popular street snacks. Younger guests can enjoy a dedicated kids’ corner with hands-on rangoli art and body painting inspired by Indian design motifs.
The celebration will be held on the fourth-floor outdoor terrace of Building 1 at Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus. Free parking is available at Garage 1 (Building 7), with entrances on NE Fifth Street and NE Sixth Street. The venue is also easily accessible by Tri-Rail, Brightline, Metrorail, Metromover and Metrobus, with several public transit options within walking distance.
