Veronica Riedel: Mycelium Garden opens at ID Art Lab from November 2-23, inviting visitors to explore the intricate connections between humanity and nature. Curated by Felix Suazo, the exhibition centers on mycelium as a symbol of regeneration, featuring large-scale installations crafted from bio-leathers derived from local organic waste like coffee, cocoa and medicinal herbs. Blending these biomaterials with photographic and AI-generated imagery, Riedel creates a layered, futuristic landscape where organic and synthetic elements coexist, highlighting themes of ecological responsibility and interconnectedness. The exhibition runs Tuesday through Saturday, 3-7 p.m.
