Stand-up returns to Coral Way as part of a citywide celebration of comedy.
Vice City Comedy Festival: Julie Baez takes place Saturday, February 28 at Just The Funny. Hosted by Michelle Castro, the showcase features comedians from across the U.S. and Canada, headlined by Miami-based performer Julie Baez.
Originally from the Dominican Republic, Baez brings sharp storytelling, cultural insight and candid takes on marriage, motherhood and everyday life. Performing in both English and Spanish, she has shared stages with national acts and is the founder of Funny in Pink Productions, an initiative spotlighting women in comedy while supporting community causes.
Vice City Comedy Festival is a multi-day event highlighting Miami’s stand-up scene alongside visiting talent. Organized by the Center for Social Change, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, the festival spans multiple venues across the city, pairing headliners with curated showcases designed to elevate emerging and established comedians alike.
Just The Funny, one of Miami’s longest-running improv theaters, hosts weekly performances and serves as a training ground for local talent. No drink minimum is required, and free and metered parking options are available nearby.
