This event has passed.
Celebrate female entrepreneurship, artistry and cultural heritage during an evening dedicated to women's accomplishments. The Vizcaya Village Night Market: Empowering Women takes place Thursday, March 13 at Vizcaya Village, offering a commemoration of Women's History Month.
The market features a diverse showcase of women vendors presenting handcrafted goods and gourmet treats alongside a dynamic lineup of musical performances. Visitors can enjoy music from Miami Girls Rock Camp starting at 5 p.m., followed by local artist Cynn Sage at 6 p.m. and culminating with Tina & the Trees performing throwback covers of iconic female musicians from 7 to 9 p.m.
A special cultural highlight occurs at 6:30 p.m. with Las Paisanas, Miami-Dade County Public Schools' first folklore dance troupe. Founded in 2023 by Yaretzy Abigail Martinez and Emerald Skye Tellez, this acclaimed group celebrates Hispanic heritage through traditional dances from various Latin American countries.
The event also offers free bilingual Qué Pasa Vizcaya Village tours focusing on the historical women of Vizcaya and the village's restoration plans. Additionally, the local nonprofit We Met in Miami will facilitate connection opportunities through color-coded wristbands and guided conversation experiences.
Admission is free with complimentary parking available at the Vizcaya Village Parking Lot (enter from S. Miami Ave). Note that access to the Main House and formal gardens on the East side of the estate is not included with Night Market admission.
