Lawton McCall Community Center in Miami Shores, offers an opportunity for high school and college students to enhance their leadership skills in the climate movement. Presented by Miami Climate 365 as part of Miami Climate Week, this event is designed to equip the next generation of environmental champions.
The Captain Planet Foundation has crafted this immersive experience to help participants understand key strategies in market dynamics, policy development and behavior change—all crucial components for implementing effective environmental solutions. Throughout the day, students will engage in hands-on activities that transform theoretical knowledge into practical action plans. The boot camp culminates in an exciting pitch competition where participants present their innovative ideas for addressing climate challenges in their own communities.
