Zero Waste Miami Spaghetti Social
This event has passed.
Engage with Miami's sustainability community over a shared meal while exchanging innovative waste reduction ideas. Zero Waste Miami Spaghetti Social will be held on Thursday, March 13 at Mids Market, offering both nourishment and environmental dialogue.
The evening combines practical sustainability with community building through a spaghetti dinner designed to spark collaborative brainstorming around waste reduction and reuse initiatives for Miami. Organized by Debris Free Oceans, this gathering brings together participants from varied backgrounds and experience levels in environmental action.
Attendees can participate in a clothing swap facilitated by Recircle Society, bringing gently used clothes, shoes and accessories to exchange. The venue itself, Mids Market, specializes in secondhand clothing, complementing the event's sustainability focus. Local Radiate Kombucha will be available for refreshment, and The Things Lab will provide reusable tableware for the dinner.
Zero Waste Miami, the coalition behind this event, connects over 130 individuals from more than 100 organizations across government, business, nonprofit, education and public sectors. Launched in January 2024, the group works to advance reuse, refill, repair, composting and waste reduction throughout Miami.
Tickets cost $7 and include a full spaghetti dinner with drinks.
