A zoo-based race day expands with a new half marathon course through Zoo Miami’s rare Pine Rocklands and outer perimeter. ZooRun 2026 takes place Saturday, November 14, marking the 14th annual edition of the event and the debut of its 13.1-mile race. Proceeds support Zoo Miami Foundation and its conservation, education and wildlife-focused work.
The new half marathon incorporates the 10K and 5K routes before adding seven miles through paved pathways and natural, unpaved terrain. Participants can also register for the ZooRun 10K, ZooRun 5K, ZooKidsDash or virtual 5K/10K, making the event accessible to a range of runners and families.
Registered participants receive race-day admission to Zoo Miami with their bib, along with a themed race shirt, finisher medal and access to the Finish Festival & Beer Garden featuring local restaurants, beer, music and dancing. The event also includes a fundraising challenge supporting Zoo Miami Foundation, plus a sneaker collection through the Go Run Foundation during packet pickup and on race day.
