Miami Carnaval

February 26 - March 13

In Miami, March means Carnaval, a festive celebration with multiple events celebrating the destination’s vibrant Latin and Caribbean cultures. Make plans to attend Carnaval on the Mile in Coral Gables on March 5 and 6, with live music, art, entertainment and food. And don’t miss the Calle Ocho Music Festival on March 13, spanning 20 blocks of music, entertainment, food and fun in Little Havana. This is a free, family-friendly celebration. You can also participate in Carnaval domino tournaments and a golf classic in March.

Miami Film Festival

March 4 -13

The Miami Film Festival is back for its 39th annual season, offering both in-theater and remote screenings. Participating movie theaters across Miami include MDC's Tower Theater, Silverspot Cinema, and the Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center. Many films will also be available to stream. This year’s festival will feature more than 120 new films from over 35 countries.

Brew Miami

March 5

Craft beer aficionados should mark their calendars for March 5, when Brew Miami takes over the Riccardo Silva Stadium at Florida International University for a festival devoted to craft beer and food pairings. The lively event will showcase local breweries, ranging from MIA Beer Company to Little Brewing Co., alongside restaurant vendors and beats from a live DJ.

Asian Culture Festival

March 5 - 6

The Asian Culture Festival at Tropical Park is designed to feel like a “virtual day trip” to Asia. Festival-goers will enjoy a weekend of Asian arts and crafts, entertainment, plants and, of course, delicious pan-Asian cuisine. Organized by the Thai-American Association of South Florida and the Miami-Dade County Asian-American Advisory Board, the festival is a celebration of Miami’s cultural diversity.

The Coconut Grove Food & Wine Festival is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a Goombay-inspired celebration of the Grove’s Bahamian roots. Come out to Elizabeth Virrick Park for a variety of Caribbean cuisine from across the islands highlighted by local restaurants, as well as live entertainment.

While the massive three-day music festival at Bayfront Park features headliners ranging from Afrojack to David Guetta and Tiësto across seven stages, Miami Music Week parties are thrown at nightclubs and hotel pools across the destination all week long with top-tier talent.
