From fabulous fireworks displays over Biscayne Bay to luxurious spa treatments for less during Miami Spa Month, July in Miami offers a variety of entertaining events. Check out these exciting summer events.

Miami Spa Specials: July 1 - 31

Spend some time relaxing this summer and take advantage of deals on spa treatments throughout the months of July and August. Luxurious spas across the city are cutting prices on signature services, so it’s your opportunity to score some much-needed pampering on your next vacation. Pérez Art Museum Miami: July 1 - 31

Visit Pérez Art Museum Miami (PAMM) for an exhibition entitled “José Carlos Martinat: Echo Chamber.” The installation is a large-scale work made of mechanical light sculptures representing American and Peruvian cultures and political landscapes. Organized by PAMM Associate Curator María Elena Ortíz with support provided by Revolver Galería, the works feature dramatic neon LED lights. Adult admission to PAMM is $16 per person. Seniors, students and youth ages 7-18 are $12 and children under six as well as active U.S. military members are free.

Fourth of July Celebrations: July 4

What better way to celebrate the 4th of July than by watching one of the largest fireworks displays in South Florida at America’s Birthday Bash. In Downtown Miami, the fun starts at Bayfront Park at 2 p.m. when the Budweiser beer garden opens. There will also be a free kids’ zone and plenty of food and music to keep the party going. The night will culminate with a fantastic fireworks celebration over Biscayne Bay at 9 p.m. Or head out to Miami Beach, for the annual Fire on the Fourth Festival. The festivities take place at the North Shore Park Bandshell, 73rd Street and Collins Avenue, and include free morning yoga on the beach, a kids play area with lots of fun activities, food trucks, live musical performances, and a spectacular fireworks display at 9 p.m. Another great way to celebrate the Fourth of July, every year Miccosukee Resort & Gaming hosts their annual Freedom Festival. From 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy live music, carnival rides and games, airboat rides, water slides, alligator wrestling shows, food, fireworks and more. Admission is free.

Miami Swim Week: July 11 – 14

The hottest swimwear brands and fashion models flock to the beaches in Miami every year for Miami Swim Week. The world’s largest tradeshow in the world for the industry, SwimShow 2019, will take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Deering Estate Summer Cabaret Concert Series Featuring Nikki Kidd: July 13

The Summer Cabaret Concert Series features intimate concerts inside the historic Great Hall at the Deering Estate. The 2019 series continues on Saturday, July 13, with international jazz vocalist Nikki Kidd.

Mango & Tropical Fruit Festival at Fairchild:
July 13 - 14

Experience the world’s largest display of mangoes at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden’s annual Mango & Tropical Fruit Festival. Activities include fresh fruit tastings, lectures, food demonstrations, children’s activities and the opportunity to explore Mangoville, a marketplace where you will find everything mango – art, gifts, food and more. Admission is free for members and $25 for non-members, $18 for seniors, $12 for children ages 6-17 and free for children under six.

South Beach Mango Festival: July 26 – 28

The second edition of the South Beach Mango Festival will take place at Lummus Park, located in the heart of all the action in South Beach. From a Mangos Rule VIP Dinner hosted by Chef Allen Susser to the official Mango Tasting Tent & International Mango Trade Fair, there will be plenty of opportunities to eat the deliciously sweet fruit at the peak of its season. Prices for events vary and proceeds benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters.

International Ballet Festival: July 27 – August 18

Showcasing the works of more than 200 ballet artists from 20 companies from around the world, the International Ballet Festival returns to Miami in 2019. Performances will take place at venues like Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater, Lehman Theater at Miami Dade College North Campus and Colony Theater. Ticket prices vary.

Summer Butterfly Walk at Deering Estate: July 27

Wander through a tropical wonderland at the Deering Estate, an environmental, archaeological and historical preserve located along the edge of Biscayne Bay, and view rarely seen species of colorful butterflies. Admission is $1 for ages 4 and older.

Overtown Music and Arts Festival: July 13

Every year, The Overtown Music and Arts Festival celebrates economic development and community enrichment in the historic Overtown district of Miami. Enjoy a stellar line-up of live music artists and activities for all ages. The festival will include vendors showcasing artwork, ethnic cuisine, unique crafts, jewelry and a vast array of entertainment. The event is free.
