North Beach Oceanside Park Beach

This beautiful serene beach in Miami Beach's North Beach area, along with its adjacent park, has been voted the best for its crowd-free green spaces and lovely walking trails on the sand. Once known as North Shore Open Space Park Beach, recently renamed North beach Oceanside Park Beach, is well maintained and a great alternative to some of the more popular - and crowded - beaches of the area.

This open expanse of tranquil beach has lifeguards on duty for your safety and plenty of room to spread out and listen to the sounds of the waves as you soak up the sun. Here you can relax with a walk on the beach in search of Turkey Wings and Jingle Shells – and if you are lucky, the occasional unbroken Olive.

Dogs are allowed on leash in the park - not on the beach, but you can picnic there as well if you want to bring along your furry friend for a day in the sun.

There's plenty of grass and shady spots in the park and at this beach, as well as plenty of metered parking spaces, so you can be sure to get a spot for your day of fun.
