Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Logistics Manager to lead the operational planning and on-site execution of events in the Miami area. This role demands a strategic, detail-obsessed operator with deep local vendor relationships, strong venue knowledge, and a reputation for getting things done — on time, on budget, and beyond expectations. You’ll play a critical role in turning creative concepts into seamless, real-world experiences that leave lasting impressions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end logistics for multiple high-profile events, from initial planning through on-site execution and post-event wrap-up.
- Build and maintain relationships with top-tier local vendors, venues, permitting offices, and production crews in the Miami area.
- Collaborate with internal creative, sales, and production teams to align on timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed production schedules, logistics plans, staffing grids, and load-in/load-out strategies.
- Manage event budgets and negotiate with vendors to maximize value while maintaining quality.
- Oversee site visits, walkthroughs, and vendor meetings; ensure all safety and compliance standards are met.
- Serve as the primary on-site lead during events — calmly troubleshooting, directing crews, and ensuring everything runs like clockwork.
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing logistics for large-scale corporate, experiential, or lifestyle events in the Miami market.
- Extensive knowledge of local venues, permitting requirements, suppliers, and city logistics.
- A strong network of trusted Miami-based event professionals and vendors.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously, often with overlapping timelines.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and unflappable under pressure.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Passionate about creating flawless, high-impact experiences.
